Coca-Cola is testing out a new product - fizzy milk named Vio.It is trying out the milk, which is a mixture of skimmed milk and sparkling water with fruit flavourings and cane sugar, in stores and delis in New York.The four flavours that Coca-Cola is to sell the product in are peach mango, berry, citrus and tropical colada.The drinks form part of Coca-Cola's Project Life initiative that is looking into developing milk-based products.In recent news, the company announced that it had gained volume and value share in non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages for the eighth quarter in a row.The firm reported that its sparkling beverage unit case volume rose by two per cent in the second quarter of this year"We outperformed the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink industry in most of our key markets and drove further global volume and value share gains," commented Muhtar Kent, chairman and chief executive officer of The Coca-Cola Company.
